How to take a Gap Year as a Homeschool Student

Can I still take an AP art or Art History course for credit if I’m taking a gap year?

The simple answer is, yes.

You’ve finished your high school credits, but aren’t totally sure what you want to do next, so you’re taking a gap year, and but still want to continue your learning. Taking an AP class is a great way to do that. You can add the AP course to your transcript and as an added bonus, if you score high enough on the final exam, you can also earn college credit for the course.

AP courses are a great way, to take a deep dive into a subject that you love without having to make a commitment to a college. And since my art and art history courses are online, you can also take them while traveling or exploring the world as long as you have internet access.

” As we move through our lives, I want you to ask yourself: How do we measure a life? How do we measure a life- by what means and by what measure? Do you measure it inch by inch, step by step, crawl by crawl? How will you measure your lives is the most important thing- not only for you, students but for all of us. I am asking myself this question constantly: How do you measure a life?”
