Take a deep breath, it doesn’t have to be hard, stressful, or frustrating.
I”m Amber Kane, textile designer, creativity educator, and stellar day dreamer. After teaching high school students for 9 years, I’ve honed in on your frustration points and created processes to make it easy.
No I won’t write it for you. Instead, I’ll help you to create a statement that makes you feel confident and proud of what you’ve written and achieved.

Basic : This is for you if you want some guidance, but like to do things on your on.
- You’ll receive the 3 stop process to guide you through writing your standout artist statement
- You’ll receive 3 videos giving you instructions and guiding you through the process
- An easy to follow checklist to make sure that you have everything that you need
- BONUS: a detailed checklist to putting your portfolio together
Deluxe: This is for you if you aren’t good at follow through, you really struggle with writing, and you want to be sure that you have a standout statement
- You’ll receive the 3 stop process to guide you through writing your standout artist statement
- You’ll receive 3 videos giving you instructions and guiding you through the process
- An easy to follow checklist to make sure that you have everything that you need
- You’ll become a member of the standout statement google plus group, where you can share what you’re working on and get feedback from myself and others
- You’ll receive 2 edits from me
This is a 2 week artist statement writing party. ( if you choose option one, you can take as much or as little time that you wish)
The Party runs from Monday Dec 7th through Friday Dec 18th.

Q: Does it matter what grade I’m in?
A: You should be in 10-12 grade
Q: I’m not super comfortable with technology, will this still work for me?
A: Yes, we aren’t using any fancy technology, and I”ll give you instructions for google plus if needed.
Q: If I start in Basic, but realize that I want feedback from you, can I upgrade?
A: Yes, as long as there is still room, as Deluxe has a limited number of openings.
