Are you getting enough feedback on your Artwork?
When it comes to writing, you know that you need to edit, and that often means having someone else look at your work. Creating art is the same way. You get better when you ask others with more experience to look at your work and provide feedback.
You might be thinking, but art is subjective, how does someone provide feedback?
While the type or style of art that you like is subjective, there are principles and guidelines in art, that can lead you to create stronger work. When you’re trying to draw something realistic, you may be able to tell that it isn’t right, but you need a more trained eye to look and tell you what needs to be changed.
Drawing, Painting, writing, these are all examples of communication.
Our world is full of visual communication. You see it on billboards, magazines, movies, TV, clothing, it’s around you. Taking an art class is leaning one of the most powerful languages that you can learn. Images are the universal language.
To give you a better understanding of how I provide feedback in my online courses and to show you how students use their art to tell a story, watch the videos below.
