DIY Accordion Fold Sketchbook

I’ve been making a lot of books lately and I’m really excited about this one. Accordion fold books work great as sketchbooks, but can also be fun if students are creating comic strips, or wanting to tell a story through the work. They can be turned one page at a time, or stretch out to one long strip. Watch the videos below to see how these were created.

 

Materials:

  • I used watercolor paper, but you can use any paper that you have access to
  • Glue: I used Elmer’s
  • Cover material: I used bristol board
