How to Get Started with Mini Paper Weaving

sketchbook activities for homeschool

I’ve been doing more paper weaving and had some questions about how to start the process. There are many different ways that you can get started, today, I’m sharing one.

This is a mini paper weaving that can be done with a wide range of ages, as you can adjust how complicated it is.

Materials:

Scarf colored paper ( I used post-it notes)

scissors

tape or glue (optional)

Take it a step farther and work with the weaving in your sketchbook. You can start to explore composition and cropping.
