Are you Looking for a Mentor?
Are you a high school student that’s looking for someone to help you develop your ideas, organize your art portfolio, and to keep you motivated to create?
Maybe you’ve already taken all of the AP classes, or you might not be interested in AP class, but really want to learn more about how to develop your personal voice and your ideas.
I have 15 years of experience teaching visual arts, along with working at the college level for 5. My passion is in the creative process, problem-solving, and idea generation, which also happens to be skills that can be hard for you to google or find a youtube video about.
This year I’m opening 6 slots for 1:1 support.
- The mentorship will run from Sept 1- May 1.
- We’ll meet to create an individualized goal and learning plan to meet your needs and goals for the year. That might include goals around completing college applications, portfolios, and scholarships submissions. Or you might have a broader focus of wanting to grow your creative thinking ability and communicate through visual arts.
- We’ll keep all of your ideas and work organized in google classroom.
- you’ll have my cell phone number so that we can text back and forth if that is your preferred method of communication.
- 1:1 video calls to problem solve and receive feedback.
