You’ve always wanted to give weaving a try, but haven’t had the time, access to a loom, or someone to tell you how to get started.
Let’s change that
The first time that I put my hands on a loom, would have been the last , had it not been a college class. The only reason anything other than knotted string came off of that loom was because I had a great teacher. Someone who could make the confusing instructions make sense, and come up with creative solutions to the tension disaster.( think gallon jugs of water hanging from threads on the loom)
While there are plenty of books and DIY videos, it’s so much easier to learn from a person, a person standing there beside you, helping you, guiding you, and answering your questions. So much easier than attempting to rephrase your google search 100 times.
Google: how do I set up a loom?
Google: how do I learn to weave?
Google: Who teaches weaving lesson near me?
The weaving studio is open, and you can consider me your own personal expert to answer all of your weaving questions.
What will you learn ? While there are several steps to setting up the loom, for your first lesson, we start with weaving, because that’s the fun part. If you love weaving and want to come back and learn about setting up the loom, you can just take another lesson.
What will I make? It will vary some depending on how quickly you catch on, and what you want to try to make. The loom will be set up so that you will have the option of making a scarf or table runner.
Who Can take a class? These classes are open to all ages. No experience needed.
